Hosoi, Cab and Chico getting some powder turns in Keystone CO. during the Zumiez 100K event last month. I thought they were training for the Winter X Games, my bad.

This past Saturday Diamond launched the Diamond X DVS pack at the LA store. If you missed the event you will have your turn to get the gear in SKATE Shops all over the US in the next 2 weeks. DVS and Diamond Supply Co. have developed a long-standing relationship over the years and it continues to show in the product collaboration projects between the two brands. Original Intent designers teamed up with Diamond to produce a limited collection of Diamond V.V.S. shoes, jackets, tees, and hats. These items are dropping on Saturday, February 7th at the Diamond Store on Fairfax in Los Angeles. The collection will be available worldwide next week.

2 weeks ago Girl had their 7th Annual Open House, which is always a good time with a ton of old friends getting together, shops coming into town and IN and OUt Burgers for everyone. One event that has really taken off is Lunch With The Gav. We need to get Marketing Meetings With The Gav here at the office. Classic!

What is 8" wide / 10.5" tall has approx 170 glossy pages of skateboarding including a Roll Call with Andrew Brophy and Steve Berra's 3rd Spotlight? That is correct the March 2009 Transworld Skateboarding mag! Berra's cover marks his 4th Transworld cover of his career and a title that only a handfull, if that many can claim. A great interview w/ Steve in a day and age when everyone is dumbed down and thinks it is cool. A great read with an optimistic attitude about what he wants to do to help skateboarding and help grow the already popular Berrics site.
